Cash prizes should not be the focus of the Bitburg Piano Competition. Nonetheless, they are an essential  part  of recognition and promotion, which  the young artists earn through their work.

For the  Competition management stands  especially the educational value of such an event  focus of consideration.  This requires one  sensitive approach to the young people involved in such  enter competition.

In total, cash prizes with a total value of up to  3000,- €  exposed.  

•  Each 1st prize winner with a rating of 25 points (award) receives a cash prize of €400. exempt  

   of which is the special award winner.

•  The special award winner with the highest rated performance of the whole  competition is also the winner of the

   Bitburger Piano Competition and receives a cash prize of €1,200. ​

•  In addition, the special award winner receives  the  Opportunity to enter the next Bitburg Piano Competition with a

   to open a solo concert.

•  Each competitor receives a certificate.
