The International Bitburg Piano Competition takes place every two years, usually at the end of April or beginning of May. The registration deadline is about 4-6 weeks in advance. All dates for the next competition can be found at the bottom of this page.

After the registration deadline and the creation of the schedule, all participants will be informed in writing about the date of their competition.

The winner of the previous Bitburg Piano Competition opens the entire event with a public piano recital.  

The competition starts with the youngest age group and ends with the 20-21 year old group. The competition is open to the public, entry is free.

The results of the International Bitburg Piano Competition will be announced by the jury no earlier than 30 minutes after the last participant. The results will then be published on this website.
